Initial Gulf reference use case
Suspected marine discharge
What is directly observed, what is derived and what remains only a hypothesis?
Phase A reference mission
A Gulf-focused maritime and critical-infrastructure reference mission, beginning with licensed data and ground validation before any dedicated orbital asset.
Customer decisions
FusionGuard is being shaped around decisions where timing, sensor geometry, calibration and a clear source record matter as much as the image itself.

Initial Gulf reference use case
Does observed behaviour match the vessel's declared identity and operating pattern?
Initial Gulf reference use case
What changed at a port, terminal, offshore site or coastal corridor, and when?
Field validation
A ground campaign can measure timing, geometry, sensor registration and custody procedures before Sirona asks a customer to fund dedicated orbital capacity.
Proposed activity
The scene represents equipment alignment and data-chain preparation. People remain close to the radar, so it is explicitly a powered-down setup, not an active RF trial or a completed Sirona campaign.
Any real campaign would require a surveyed test plan, RF and rotation exclusion controls, named data sources and customer-approved acceptance criteria.
Sensing concept
The proposed flagship concept combines radar with optical or short-wave infrared sensing, mission-specific tasking and direct delivery. The configuration and performance remain Phase A trade-study targets.
Reduce ambiguity created when different sensors observe different moments.
Optimise collection and downlink around the agreed operating area rather than pursue undifferentiated global coverage.
Retain the data and calibration state needed to improve products and explain limits.
Do not manufacture confidence when timing, quality or evidence is too weak.
Asset route
The controlled route begins on the ground, then advances through a small orbital pathfinder and only later to paired Fusion nodes and dedicated mission capacity.
Test calibration, timing, event utility, onboard processing and clear refusal.
A proposed dedicated spacecraft to prove payload avionics, compute, calibration and one useful sensing chain.
A proposed pair designed around related radar and optical or SWIR measurements.
Additional assets only after customer demand, service evidence and unit economics pass.
Begin with a private conversation
The current reference design is Gulf focused. Sirona can assess other customer-defined regions through new feasibility, data-access and regulatory work. No global service or coverage is claimed.
